Our School
St. Elisabeth’s Nursery School is a licensed, private, non-religious nursery school. St. Elisabeth’s Nursery School has been offering early childhood education for over 50 years—2007 marked the nursery school’s golden anniversary. Originally founded by the parishoners of St. Elisabeth’s Church, the nursery school formally incorporated as an independent, non-religious, early educational institution over 40 years ago. Since that time, St. Elisabeth’s Nursery School has developed a reputation for providing an excellent early education within a small community-oriented setting.
The nursery school, located in the parish center building adjacent to St. Elisabeth’s Church, operates a single classroom of mixed three-year-old and four-year-old boys and girls. Three-year-old children are enrolled three mornings per week, and four-year-old children are enrolled four mornings per week from 9:00-11:15 am. The nursery school strives to maintain an equal distribution of ages and sexes in the classroom on a daily basis. The total enrollment of the classroom does not exceed 16 children per day. All children must be three years old and toilet-trained by September 1st prior to the beginning of the school year. St. Elisabeth’s Nursery School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality or ethnic origin.
